James Madison Volleyball adds two freshmen to 2026 roster

HARRISONBURG, Va. (JMU Athletics) – The James Madison volleyball program signed two players to aid agreements, Head Coach Lauren Steinbrecher announced on Tuesday morning.

Brenna Corbin, a defensive specialist and libero from Winchester, Va., and Lindsay Large, a setter from Brentwood, Tenn., will enroll in classes in the spring and join the team for the 2026 season.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Brenna Corbin and Lindsey Large to the JMU Volleyball program this spring!” Steinbrecher said. “Brenna is a dynamic libero whose competitiveness and defensive instincts immediately elevate our gym, while Lindsey brings exceptional touch and poise as a setter, along with a calm leadership presence that will help shape the future of our offense. Both athletes embody the character, work ethic, and standard we look for in Dukes. We can’t wait for them to be and watch them grow within our program!!”

• Helped lead Brentwood to runner-up finish in state tournament in 2025
• Led her club team to a second-place finish at AAU Nationals as a junior
• Loves traveling
