The Recycling Center at Gypsy Hill Park closed Friday afternoon to make way for its new location at the Public Works Compound on Craigmont Road.

Public Works Director Jeff Johnston explains that the new center, which opens on Monday, will serve the residents so much better than the present location at Gypsy Hill Park.

When the new recycling center opens, hours will be expanded, especially on Thursdays and Saturdays because they are the busiest days for recycling customers.
